War eine ganz neue Erfahrung, interessantes Viertel, "Sauna" unglaublich dreckig, obwohl ein Reinigungsboy umherschwirrte, die Matrazen vollge****, werktags nachmittag leider nur für mich uninteressante ältere, fitnessabstinente, gut behaarte Herrschaften. Auf den Straßen vorher aber hübsche Jungs jegl. Ethnie, sehr viele Chinesen (kein Wunder: das ist Chinatown, chin. Schriftzeichen überall, nur als Zweitsprache englisch), sauheiße Dusche, man konnte überhaupt kein kaltes Wasser beimischen, kl. Saunaraum polizeilich geschlossen (Hinweisschild), sonst gab es nichts nasses oder feuchtes (von den Matrazen mal abgesehen), überall handgemalte Verbotsschilder. Hatte keine Badelatschen dabei, ging dann in Strümpfen, man sah auch Badehosen, Schuhe, udn Straßenkleider. Vor den Privatrooms ekelte ich mich ehrlich gesagt, auch die Toiletten musste ich gottseidank nicht benutzen. Blieb nicht mehr viel, auf und ab spazieren, diverse Hände mehrfach bestimmt wegschieben und den 2 Fernsehern zuschauen, einmal Nachrichten und einmal schlechte Filme.
Leider waren keine hübschen mittelalten Asiaten oder Chinesen da (die wirklich supersüß sind)...

Wirklich komisch, dass New York wohl keine einzige halbwegs ansprechende Gaysauna hat (andere hab ich nicht besucht, es gibt ja noch anderes für einen Erstbesuch in NYC).

The most dirty and filthy sauna I've ever seen.
Cockroaches in the cubicles, ambiguous stains on couches, smelly, dry sauna closed by sanitary administration.
Patrons mostly chinese and latino.
Fune possible, but only if you really need it.
Yakee... disgusting

Hello everyone who reads this. I want to tell a story, one that starts at The Northern Sauna, then continues on and on. I planned a 4 week trip in December and January, that began with a 12 hour layover in NYC. I had been to the snooty East Side and West Side Clubs, but never to this one, mainly because it is so off the beaten trail. Believe me, it is worth visiting. Not only did I have a fantastic afternoon with 4 different guys, having to run back to the subway and dash off to Newark airport at the last minute!!! (I have been back to this hotspot on 3 subsequent trips to NYC, in fact, I try to plan layovers between flights just to have time to visit this place). Now that said, let me just point out that this sauna is amongst the most disgusting I have ever been to, in terms of the facilities. Be sure to bring slippers and a plastic bag to put them into afterward. The dry sauna and steam are closed per the health dept. The toilets are gross. But, the men are hot, and come in all types. From this sauna, I went on with my trip to 15 countries, and went to saunas in the 13 countries that had them. I accoplished my goal, which was to meet and have fun with a local hottie in each city. Some of them have remained aquaintaces. The next stop was London

To get there, take the 7 subway to the last stop Main St/Flushing. Exit at the Main Street direction Northern Boulevard. Farrington St crosses Norther Boulevard more or less in front of Main Street.

Various latinos and Asians (fits with the area). Sociologically interesting and not to far from PS1
