I was in Mayakovka Sauna in April 2009. Pretty expensive, little people even on a Saturday and Sunday (I was there 2x) lots of male prostitutes. The steam bath is so hot, hard to stand more than 5 min, the sauna didn't work, some parts were closed, in the jacuzzi only 3 of many fuses worked, the cabins are small and totally dark, rotten beds, no TV inside, men do it short and anonymous in the bath or in the totally dark labyrinth. strange experience! if this is the best in Moscow I don't want to see the others...

I was there last night (Saturday) and it was crowded with a huge mix of people from small to large, young to old, good looking to not so good looking. Most were playful yet not too aggressive. Although I like it, I still think the sauna should be a little more responsible and offer condems and lube for their members.

They just reopened after being closed for a month for renovations. I know last year, I did not see that much difference for being closed for a month, but I was there this past Wednesday and had a great time! I really like the changes they made. The flow is still the same, but I just like the changes/look of it better.

As for the guys, they ranged in age and size so plenty to suite all desires. I met a few other English speaking guys there and the cute bartender spoke English to me as well.

For the closeness to the metro and city center, I recommend it. For those you going the first time, it can be hard to find so make sure you have a good map and/or specific instructions. Once you figure it out, it is not too difficult, but the first time in a strange city, it could be tricky

I like the updates they made in the sauna. It still has the similar flow, but it does look nicer and added a few more vip rooms. If you have not been, I would recommend going and seeing the changes. I was there last night with two friends - first time really during the week and I must say it was pretty busy with a nice range of people.

I visited last September 2007. One of the hottest places I have ever visited. Clean and hot young men ready to have fun. I do not speak Russian but I had not problem to talk with personal and some nice Russians.
