Hello: I visited The Wingate Club earlier this month. It is quite a large place, with plenty of outdoor areas (gardens, a swimmng pool, seating etc.) and the "indoors" section is also spacious. It has a lot of good ideas (i.e. you can see the shower's section from the spa) but as a gay sauna it fails misserably. The place is dirty and there is green stuff growing in the wooden floors! The towels almost shred into pieces and you get only one condom. The dry sauna and steam sauna are too dark, something that might turn your funy experience into something dangeours or even fatal (no kidding, slippery floors, darkness and heavy furniture you can't see make the ideal recipe for killing yourself!). Perhaps the managers should take note of that. The service is nothing exceptional. The guy at the counter was not friendly at all. The "fauna" or "crowd" at the place seems to be mostly late 40's to 60's and I bet there was at least one 70 something guy. Lots of bears, heavily tattoed dudes and a bit of red-head atmosphere. I did not enjoy the experience, I actually left the place after 20 minutes. The minute I step into the club I noticed I was the "dish of the day" and had a long line of guys following me around and trying their best. I'm 30 and just average looking but because it seems young people do not go there...well
