One problem... Not enough restroom facilities. No restroom with some privacy (if you know what I mean). Don't know if they want you to soil the room by being dirty. Otherwise the place is clean. Again, facilitywise the place sucks.

Don't believe the negative comments about F212. As a local I can say they are from people with an agenda or a bad attitude. F212 is clean and with a widely varying clientele. It has its busy times and its slow times. Sometimes when I go I can hit the jackpot .. lots of hot guys .. other times, it's too slow.

Here is when to go: weekdays 11am-3pm special low price "dip and dash" usually draws a crowd (but nothing guaranteed, except it's so cheap you're only wasting five dollars).

weekend nights usually busy: Friday/Saturday after 10pm or later. Sunday night say 8pm to 11pm.

Otherwise, this whole city -- Vancouver -- has an extremely lame, boring gay scene compared to Toronto, Montreal, or any city of its size in the U.S. Do NOT travel to Vancouver for the gay life. It is BORING.

This bathhouse is known as 'Chem City' in regards to the amount of party and play that happens there. Its no longer fun and a young man died of an overdose there at the end of April. Unfortunately I was there when the cops came in and made everyone give their personal information to them which was reasonable enough in regards to the death.
The sad thing was the ownership and staff at first tried to tell everyone they were closing because of 'water issues'.
Typical of Vancouverites trying to cover up the truth.

Do agree with the other comment made here about the whirlpool. Unhealthy and not very clean.

I have to politely disagree with the comments "MH" below. Having visited "Friction" last night (Saturday; see separate comment there) and F212 on Davies Street this afternoon, I think F212 is STILL the best in Vancouver! Quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. My only complaint/comment would be that the steam room could be a bit "steamier" (temperature-wise), but otherwise, hot guys, great facilities, and good valur fmr money paid. I'll be back! FYI, the New Westminster location is apparently now under different ownership than the Davies St. location.
